See what working with MFA can look like
From ongoing support to specialist projects, see how we adapt to what different businesses need.
Different skills. One place to come for support.
We provide a cybersecurity consultant with ongoing admin support, helping with inbox management, finance admin coordination and administration around her training courses.
But her business needs don't sit neatly within one area. Our wider support has included Online Business Manager expertise, process improvement, market research, sales and marketing planning and website development.
We also provide dedicated sales support, making outbound calls and booking appointments with potential clients.
Instead of finding a different provider every time a new need arises, she can access different skills and expertise through MFA.

Support that grew with the business
A growing accountancy practice initially needed a small amount of help with client onboarding, so we started with just three 30-minute sessions a week, preparing Letters of Engagement, updating the CRM and supporting with general onboarding admin.
As the practice grew, so did our role. We developed and refined a structured onboarding process and eventually provided 10+ hours of support a week, regularly managing the onboarding of more than 20 new clients at once. From engagement documents and ID collection to Direct Debits, HMRC authorisations and client follow-up, we kept each client moving through the process and the practice informed along the way.
Eventually, the role became large enough for it to make sense to bring it in-house. Our support gave the business the flexibility to scale its onboarding capacity alongside its growth, without employing someone before the need was there.

Making the systems fit the business
An HR consultant was working across several different systems, with manual processes making everyday tasks more complicated and time-consuming than they needed to be.
Rather than jumping straight to a piece of software, we first looked at how the business worked and what she actually needed. We researched the options, identified an industry-specific CRM that was a strong fit and set it up around her business and processes.
The result was a more joined-up way of working, with the right technology supporting the business rather than creating more work.

Turning creative ideas into action
We were already providing day-to-day admin support to an artist and coach when she came to us with a bigger idea: an exhibition celebrating her work as a cleft portrait artist.
She had the creative vision. We helped turn it into an actionable plan, supporting with strategy, event coordination, social media and sponsorship opportunities. We then went on to support her US tour, helping bring together the practical and marketing activity around it.
For business owners with the ideas and vision, MFA can provide the structure, skills and practical support to help make them happen.

FAQs
MFA Business Support provides flexible support across four areas: Admin, Sales, Marketing and Operations. This can range from day-to-day admin and sales support to marketing strategy, CRM implementation, process improvement, AI and bespoke projects.
The support is shaped around what your business actually needs, rather than a fixed list of services.
We support businesses of different sizes and at different stages of growth. Some clients are small businesses that need extra capacity without employing someone, while others have established teams but need additional resource or specialist expertise.
We can also work alongside your existing employees and external providers, filling the gaps where you need us.
No. Often, clients know what's not working or where they're struggling, but aren't sure what the solution should be.
We start with a discovery call to understand your business, the challenge and what you're trying to achieve. From there, we can recommend the right type of support and the skills or expertise you need.
Yes. MFA offers ongoing support, ad-hoc support, bespoke projects and packages.
You might need someone working with your business regularly, extra capacity during a busy period, or specialist expertise for a specific project such as setting up a CRM, mapping your processes or developing a marketing strategy. We can recommend the approach that best fits what you need.
Yes. One of the benefits of working with MFA is access to different skills and expertise across Admin, Sales, Marketing and Operations.
You might start with one area of support and need something different later, or have a project that requires several different skills. Rather than finding a new provider every time, MFA can bring together the right support for your business.
It starts with a discovery call where we'll talk about your business, what you need help with and what you're trying to achieve.
We'll then recommend the most appropriate support and the right person or people for the work. Depending on your needs, that could be ongoing or ad-hoc support, a bespoke project or one of our packages.
