My Freelance Admin is now MFA Business Support
We’ve grown. Our name has caught up.
This marks a big moment for the business: My Freelance Admin is now MFA Business Support.
There’s a new name, a new website and a slightly evolved look, but this isn’t a case of starting again.
It’s about creating a brand that better reflects the business we’ve become.
Why the change?
When I started My Freelance Admin, the name worked.
The business was built around providing flexible admin support to businesses that needed an extra pair of hands without necessarily employing someone.
Over the years, that support has grown.
Clients have come to us needing help with their day-to-day admin and then asked us to take on something else. We’ve supported sales activity, helped businesses improve their processes, implemented systems and CRMs, coordinated projects, delivered marketing activity and brought in experienced people with expertise our clients didn’t have internally.
Increasingly, My Freelance Admin simply didn’t describe the full picture anymore.
We needed a name and a structure that could grow with the business while keeping hold of what made it work in the first place.
And so, MFA Business Support was born.
What is MFA Business Support?
MFA gives businesses flexible access to experienced people across four areas:
Admin – practical support to create capacity, keep things organised and get the day-to-day work done.
Sales – support to generate opportunities, follow up leads and keep sales activity moving.
Marketing – strategic thinking, experienced expertise and practical delivery to help businesses communicate, stay visible and move their marketing forward.
Operations – strategic and operational expertise to improve how a business works, from processes and systems to AI, automation and project support.
But the idea behind MFA is actually very simple:
When your business needs support, come to MFA.
You don't necessarily need to know exactly what role you need or which service fits.
You might simply know that something isn't working, that there aren't enough hours in the day, that your people are stretched, or that you need expertise you don't currently have in-house.
That's where the conversation starts.
The philosophy behind MFA hasn't changed
There’s an idea that has become increasingly important to me as the business has developed: your Golden Zone.
Your Golden Zone is the work that makes the best use of your skills, experience and strengths.
Yet as businesses grow, people often find themselves doing more and more work simply because someone has to do it.
A business owner ends up spending hours on admin.
A highly experienced employee becomes responsible for tasks that have little to do with the job they were actually employed to do.
A salesperson spends valuable selling time maintaining spreadsheets.
A director becomes the person through whom every task, question and decision has to pass.
Individually, those things might not seem particularly significant. Collectively, they can take an enormous amount of capacity away from a business.
At MFA, we believe the right work should sit with the right people.
Sometimes that means taking work off someone's plate. Sometimes it means bringing in expertise that doesn't exist internally. Sometimes it's having somebody take ownership of a project and make it happen.
And sometimes, as a business grows, the answer eventually is bringing that capability in-house.
Our role is to help find the support that makes sense for the business at that point in time.
So, what's actually changing?
For our existing clients, very little about the way we work together is changing.
We’re still the same business, with the same focus on getting to know our clients, understanding what they actually need and finding the right people to support them.
My Freelance Admin Ltd remains our registered company name, and we now trade as MFA Business Support.
What has changed is that our brand finally gives us room to talk properly about the breadth of support we can provide.
We have an updated website, new email addresses and a clearer structure around our four Hubs: Admin, Sales, Marketing and Operations.
Our old email addresses will continue to reach us, so nobody needs to worry about suddenly losing contact with us.
What happens next?
For me, the rebrand isn't the end of something. It's much more about creating the foundations for the next stage of the business.
Over the coming weeks and months, we'll be sharing more about the different ways we support businesses, introducing some of the experienced people behind MFA and talking about the problems we help our clients solve.
But the starting point remains the same.
You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what service you need.
Tell us what's happening in your business, what's taking up your time or what you're trying to achieve, and we'll help you work out the right support.
When your business needs support, come to MFA.
